Michael called yesterday from Germany, and probably arrived in Kuwait sometime today. After two or three weeks there, he will be on his way to Baghdad. Please remember him in your prayers. I'll share an address as soon as I have one.
The picture had not fully come into view, but I knew what I was looking at and I knew what was going to be written under it. Now we share something else as mothers. As you know from my experience with deployments, it's a really tough thing for the families at home. I'm here for you to lean on, in any way, even as shakey and weepy as I am about this stuff. You're the best thing that ever happened to that boy and the best Mom he'll ever know. I am SO proud of you for opening your heart and your home so willingly. He is in my prayers as are you. . . Love you so much!
